Dr. Dwight M. Fredrickson
Dr. Dwight Fredrickson serves as the Administrative Director for the Institute in
Basic Life Principles and the Advanced Training Institute International in Oak Brook,
IL. He also ministers as a teaching elder at Christ Fellowship Church in Naperville,
IL and resides with his wife, Laura, and their six children in Oak Brook, IL. Dr.
Fredrickson has served as the Secretary of the Board of Christian Vision for China
since its inception.

Paul J. Von Tobel III
Paul J. Von Tobel III is a businessman in Valparaiso, a community in the Northwest
part of the State of Indiana, located about an hour from Chicago, Illinois. Paul
is married to Candace Von Tobel and they have three children Michele, Paul and Peter.
Paul currently serves as a Trustee of the Moody Bible Institute, Chicago, Illinois
and is an elder at his church, Liberty Bible Church.

Dr. Stewart Wu
Dr. Stewart Wu was born and raised in Canton, China. He graduated from Oklahoma
Baptist University and received his M.D. from Wake Forest University-Bowman Gray
School of Medicine, Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He completed his surgical training
at the Baylor Medical Center in Dallas, Texas and thereafter practiced surgery in
Valparaiso, Indiana. He retired in 1996.
Dr. Stewart Wu’s involvement with organizations for the past and present are: Chinese
Christian Mission; Chinese Christian Medical Mission (Luke Medical Mission); GO
International; GO and LOVE Foundation; Kids Alive International; and China Horizon.
Dr. Stewart Wu attends both Calvary Church in Valparaiso, Indiana and Chinese Christian
Union Church North in Highland Park, Illinois.

Bernard E. Tanis
Bernie received his Master of Divinity degree from Trinity in June of 1988. He
later attended the University of Cambridge in United Kingdom and received a
certificate in Risk Management in 2001. He serves as the District Executive
Minister for MidAmerica Baptist Conference in Park Ridge, Illinois from 1993 to
present. He was the senior pastor for the Bethany Baptist Church in Harwood
Heights, Illinois from May 1983 to August 1993. He was an Associate Pastor for
the same church from 1981-1983.
Bernie is married to May for 36 years, they have 4 children and 6 grandchildren.
They are members of the Meadows Baptist Church in Rolling Meadows, Illinois.
Bernie is gifted in preaching/teaching, administration and discernment.

David and his family were church planters in Tokyo, Japan for 15 years. Additionally
he served as field leader for eight of those years. Since 2003 he has served as
regional director for 50+ expatriate workers as well as indigenous leadership engaged
in Converge Worldwide/BGC ministry in Japan, Philippines, Thailand, Cambodia, Singapore,
and Vietnam.
